1) Consistent Sleep Cycle

Get at least 8 hours of sleep

If you are someone whose day begins after dawn then I have got some bad news. Not maintaining a consistent sleep schedule can disrupt the normal activities of your body. Make it a point to be in bed by 10pm – 11pm and be awake by 6am – 7am. Even if you go to bed late, make sure you wake up at the same time every morning. Even if you don’t feel sleepy and would just lie in bed for hours before actually falling asleep, then just do that. Relax your body which would help your liver rest and it would be fresh and ready the next morning.

2) Water. Water. Water!

Adequate water is solution to everything that is wrong inside your body. Make sure to drink at least 2-3 liters of water every single day and at least 4 liters if you exercise. Less water will definitely affect your health in a bad way. Water helps to flush out all the harmful toxins from your body and makes your skin glow.

3) Avoid Carbonated Beverages and Soda

Avoid Sodas and Carbonated Drinks

If soda or carbonated drinks are your go to beverages then you need to stop. These drinks contain high amount of refined sugar which increase your blood sugar and fat levels which would make your body produce more insulin and testosterone than normal and your pores would become clogged and also it would cause skin inflammation. So, substitute these harmful drinks with coconut water or other natural drinks. The best solution is to drink water whenever you feel like getting a drink.

4) 20 Minutes of Exercise Daily

You should at least exercise for 20 minutes every day to keep yourself healthy and your skin glowing. It could be in the form of a game (tennis, football, basketball, etc.) or just a brisk walk. Make sure you exercise outdoors. Physical activity has a lot of cardiovascular benefits and exercising increases blood flow which nourishes your skin cells and keeps them vital and cleans up acne forehead bumps. Blood circulation also helps to flush out waste products from working cells and provides them with oxygen. So, run forest run!

5) Meditate

Meditate daily to get rid of face acne

After you wake up, try to meditate and think about peaceful thoughts. Even meditating only for 10 minutes per day has proven to be beneficial in a significant way. Stressing about life or things in general can cause acne outbreak all over your face, especially acne forehead bumps. If you can’t meditate or don’t want to then indulge in any activity that relaxes you.

6) 8 Hours of Sleep At Least. Period.

Make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep every day. If your body is not well rested then it would frustrate you and make you grumpy and cause stress which would induce acne on your face. So leave your phones aside and stop surfing the internet in the night and sleep, sleep and watch your acne forehead bumps disappear.

7) Chew. Chew. Chew.

Chew food properly to get rid of acne

Are you someone who puts the food in their mouth and gulps them down instantly? Stop doing that. Make sure to properly chew your food while eating to improve your digestion. A general rule is to chew for at least 32 times before swallowing your food. Well, you don’t have to chew for 32 times but just make sure that your food is just like a gooey paste before swallowing.

8) Maintain a Food Diary

The best way to know if a particular food is causing your acne forehead bumps or not is just keeping a food diary. Note down whatever you are eating at every meal. If you have eaten any new food item then make a note of that because it would help you realize which items cause an acne outburst on your face. Also, try removing certain items from your diet and see if it makes your acne go away and make a note of that. In short, write everything that you eat.

9) Better Hygiene

Bad hygiene can result in dirty being accumulated in your skin which would clog the pores and cut off the oxygen supply which would cause acne forehead bumps. So make sure you clean yourself properly every day. If you have been outside even for an hour then wash your face with a natural face wash when you return home. Also, wash your face every morning. Wear sun screen when you go out and cover yourself with a cotton cloth before leaving the house to avoid dirt.

10) Reduced Refined Sugar

Avoid Refined Sugar at All Costs

Like soda and carbonated drinks there are many other food items that contain refined sugar. Refined sugar is your worst enemy. Avoid processed food and junk food. If you can’t avoid them totally then reduce the amount you consume. Indulge in a cheat meal once a week. Don’t make it a cheat day. Avoid those delicious slurpees and donuts.

If you adopt these lifestyle changes then you are sure to get rid of acne forehead bumps or acne on face. These might seem difficult but hang on to them and you would definitely be glad that you stuck with them.
